Apprenticeships

CITB-logo

P.F. Parsons has a long history of success with the development of apprentices and works in close collaboration with CITB, the Construction Industry Training Board for England, Scotland and Wales. CITB have over 45 years’ experience with apprentices and through encouraging training, they aim to create a “Professional and fully qualified workforce”, something that here at P.F. Parsons we fully endorse.

An apprenticeship usually lasts between two and four years depending on which level of qualification the apprentice is working towards. The CITB Apprenticeship Scheme offers apprenticeships at three levels:

Level 2 – equivalent to GCSE’s
Level 3 – equivalent to A Levels
Level 4 – equivalent to Foundation Degree.

There is a wide array of apprenticeships available through CITB in collaboration with P.F. Parsons, such as Carpentry and Bricklaying; a full list is available through the CITB website.

As an apprentice you will receive:

  • Onsite training to give you hands on experience.
  • Training received through a college or training centre.
  • All college or training provider examination fees paid.
  • A nationally recognised qualification on the completion of your course.
