Project Brief
This beautiful old farmhouse needed a bit of a rethink internally. The existing small kitchen was relocated into what had previously been used as a drawing room, and allowed for a more open plan living space including a dining area. The old kitchen room was transformed into a cosy snug.
We replaced the porch, and reconfigured the hallway and staircase.
Upstairs, we replaced the entire first floor construction, and reconfigured the bedrooms and bathrooms. We replaced rooflights with dormer windows to create more space and improve the aesthetic internally as well as externally. We added fitted cupboards to provide more storage and by using mirrored doors opened up an otherwise rather narrow area. Unused landing area space was turned into a couple of ensuite bathrooms.
